About The Position

The General Cleaner is a frontline 4M Team Member trained in the company’s cleaning and disinfecting practices, using green-seal-certified supplies and equipment. The role includes maintaining clean facilities, providing courteous and reliable service, and reporting visible maintenance issues. Duties are representative and may vary.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The pay rate is $19.61. The position reports to the Account Supervisor/Account Manager.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required; training in the company’s best practices is provided.
• Must successfully complete a drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with the position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soaps, and toilet paper rolls.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips observed in the facility.
• Provide friendly, reliable, courteous, and resourceful service.
• Follow 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices using green-seal-certified supplies and equipment.
