About The Position

The General Cleaner is a frontline 4M team member who performs cleaning and disinfecting duties using 4M’s practices, supplies, and equipment. The role involves maintaining facility cleanliness, replenishing supplies, removing trash, and reporting maintenance issues. The listed schedule is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Saturday, 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Duties are representative and may vary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience is required; training in 4M’s practices is provided.
• Must successfully complete a drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with the position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Use 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices, supplies, and equipment.
• Provide courteous, reliable, and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips.
