About The Position

The General Cleaner, also identified as a Floor Tech in Janitorial Services, is a frontline Team Member trained in 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices. The role uses green-sealed certified supplies and equipment and involves maintaining facility cleanliness, replenishing supplies, removing trash, and reporting maintenance concerns. Duties are representative and may vary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Some janitorial experience required; training in 4M’s best practices is provided.
• Successfully complete drug screening and a background check.
• Comply with safety guidelines.
• Wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with the position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Use 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices with green-sealed certified supplies and equipment.
• Provide friendly, reliable, courteous, and resourceful service as a representative of 4M.
• Wipe down countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soaps, and toilet paper rolls.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report necessary repairs, replacements, leaks, and drips.
