About The Position

The General Cleaner is responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards while cleaning commercial properties and following the company’s mission statement and values. The position includes cleaning and maintaining areas such as restrooms, kitchens, and lobbies, including surgical cleaning in a medical facility. The role also involves reporting maintenance, inventory, and lost-and-found issues; keeping storage closets organized; and supporting a safe, efficient work environment. The listed shift is Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of excellence.
• Empty trash receptacles.
• Vacuum.
• Dust mop or sweep hard surface floors.
• Wet mop hard surface floors.
• Clean units, including restrooms, kitchens, and lobbies.
• Wipe spots and smudges from entry doors.
• Dust horizontal surfaces when they are cleared.
• Perform high dusting.
• Dust windowsills and blinds.
• Perform surgical cleaning in a medical facility.
• Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
• Report damaged, dirty, or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens.
• Report inventory and supply needs to the Supervisor.
• Report lost-and-found items to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Help keep storage closets clean and organized.
• Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office.
• Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Use time wisely and efficiently.
