About The Position

Marsden Central, L.L.C. is hiring a part-time General Cleaner to maintain office and warehouse areas in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The building includes office space, cubicles, conference rooms, restrooms, breakrooms, and warehouse areas, and experiences a high volume of foot traffic. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. During winter months, potentially through March, the schedule changes on Tuesdays and Thursdays to 5:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. On those winter Tuesdays and Thursdays, additional vacuuming of common areas is needed because ice melt tracked inside increases floor-cleaning needs. Marsden describes itself as a facility services provider that cleans, sanitizes, and services businesses across the United States. The role is classified as essential. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to speak English for safety reasons.
Must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Must be able to lift trash bags and trash bins for disposal.

Responsibilities

Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors throughout the building.
Collect and dispose of trash from bins throughout the building, including lifting bags and bins and placing them in the dumpster.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and restock toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
Dust, wipe, and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and furniture.
Vacuum common areas on Tuesdays and Thursdays during winter months, potentially through March.
