About The Position

As a Geek Squad Senior Repair Technician (Agent), you oversee technology support at a Best Buy store, applying technical expertise and leadership skills. You train and coach agents in repairs and services according to Geek Squad standards and serve as a role model for the team. The role supports strong employee and customer experiences and business results. Internally, the position is known as a CIA Agent.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience diagnosing and repairing PCs or consumer electronics.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience, including coaching, training, and recognition.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist other Geek Squad leaders with assigning staff to customer service, device diagnosis, repair, service, and follow-up.
• Communicate department goals and other important information clearly, accurately, and promptly to team members.
• Work directly with customers to ensure they receive needed service and to resolve escalated customer service issues.
• Coach agents to develop their customer service and technology repair skills.
• Collaborate with team members and other store employees, answer questions, and help achieve goals and maintain high customer service standards.
