About The Position

The Operations Associate supports store operations by shipping and receiving stock and shipments, administering daily tasks, and ensuring products are merchandised to create a positive customer experience. The role calls for collaboration, customer focus, initiative, strong organizational skills, and the ability to learn and use retail technology and systems. Associates help protect people and assets by following protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Able to work in a loud environment for 5–8 hours.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Able to collaborate and work cooperatively with a team.
• Able to provide excellent customer service and connect with customers.
• Able to identify opportunities and issues, learn quickly, and take initiative.
• Able to manage priorities, multitask, and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-urgency environment.
• Able to learn and use retail technology, systems, equipment, and computer programs.
• Able to follow protocols and guidelines to protect assets and people.

Responsibilities

• Handle inventory-control tasks.
• Ship and receive gear and other items.
• Prepare for and perform inventory cycle counts.
• Stock and merchandise products according to a planogram.
• Print and place signage and price signs (POP).
• Handle cash.
• Maintain awareness of shrink and help control it.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
