About The Position

This full-time, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide high-quality gastroenterology care in a collaborative clinical environment. As a Gastroenterologist, you will diagnose and treat a wide range of digestive system conditions, perform endoscopic procedures, and work closely with patients to develop effective treatment plans. You will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive care and improving patient outcomes within our medical practice.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine
• Completed fellowship in Gastroenterology
• Board certified or board eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active medical license in good standing
• Associate-level clinical experience in gastroenterology
• Proficiency in endoscopic procedures
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
• Commitment to patient-centered care
• ERCP required
• Must be board-certified

• EUS preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients with gastrointestinal and liver conditions
• Perform endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy
• Develop and manage individualized patient treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records
• Provide patient education on digestive health and disease prevention
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
• Adhere to clinical guidelines and regulatory standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Stay current with advances in gastroenterology practice
• Consults, procedures, rounding, etc.
• No clinic work
