About The Position

Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking a Gastroenterologist specializing in Advanced Endoscopy to join their well-established division of 19 providers. This full-time position involves a 4-day work week with clinical practice at two locations: Scripps Ranch and San Diego. The role encompasses Advanced Endoscopy and General GI, including care for patients with IBD and liver disease. The position requires privileges at Sharp Memorial Hospital and offers full support staff, including a dedicated MA/LVN or RN, exam rooms, and office space. Board Certification is required within two years of employment, and the group utilizes EPIC EMR system-wide.

Requirements

• Board Certification required within 2 years of employment.
• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship program.
• Licensure to practice medicine in California.
• DEA registration.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Advanced Endoscopy.
• Experience with IBD and liver disease.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR.

Responsibilities

• Perform Advanced Endoscopy procedures.
• Provide General GI care, including for IBD and liver disease patients.
