About The Position

The Gas Station Attendant is responsible for daily gas station operations, including opening and closing procedures, monitoring and maintaining equipment, assisting members with transactions and payments, and following safety, environmental, and security standards. The role also involves fuel delivery preparation, cash handling, station cleanliness, reporting, pricing checks, spill response, and visitor access procedures. Team members may be asked to work in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to complete all required training.
• Previous gas station operating experience preferred.
• Experience operating a cash register preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service and assist members with gas station transactions.
• Promote the safety of people, property, and the environment during station operations.
• Monitor sales transactions and handle cash transactions when applicable.
• Maintain restroom cleanliness and perform custodial duties as needed.
• Monitor gas station reports, generate required reports, complete checklist procedures, and document and address identified issues.
• Perform all opening and closing procedures accurately.
• Regularly monitor and maintain gas station equipment.
• Oversee fuel deliveries and perform required preparation procedures.
• Follow gas station safety, environmental, and security standards; notify management and the help desk when alarms are present.
• Perform cash drawer procedures, including deposits, verification, documentation, and control procedures.
• Conduct daily competitive price surveys and ensure posted prices and club signage match the POS system.
• Follow spill bucket and spilled-material procedures, including immediate response and cleanup.
• Log visitors and verify proper identification before allowing access to the kiosk area.
• Notify the corporate office of non-routine maintenance vendor visits, including visits by inspectors and state employees.
• Maintain club policies and procedures and perform other assigned duties, including work in other departments as needed.
• Maintain regular, predictable, and full attendance.
• Support club standards, teamwork, inclusion, safety, and positive member service.
