About The Position

The GE Vernova Gas Power Edison Engineering Development Program is an entry-level rotational engineering program designed to grow high-potential talent with a passion for technology, a drive for technical excellence, professional skills, and GE values. The program accelerates development through intense technical training and a variety of business-critical assignments. Graduates of this program will have the technical and business foundation to innovate and create the future of GE Vernova, addressing the urgent global priority of the climate crisis by electrifying the world while simultaneously working to help decarbonize it.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aero Engineering, Controls Engineering, Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or other Energy Engineering related majors from an ABET accredited university.
  • Graduation dates: December 2026 or May/June 2027.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screen (as applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Work on impactful, technically-challenging projects in the power generation industry during four 6-month rotations in a variety of disciplines, including Design, Analysis, Systems, Quality, Reliability, Digital, and Integration & Test.
  • Enhance core engineering skills through Advanced Courses in Engineering and Business leadership training attended alongside other GE Vernova program members from other functions and locations.
  • Receive technical training, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers.
  • Participate in development training with other GE Vernova Development program members from other functions and locations.
  • Have the opportunity to earn credit towards an MS degree in Engineering (if entering with a BS).
  • Grow technical expertise in your chosen field and expand skills in new areas.
