About The Position

The Applied Engineering Development Program (AEDP) is a two-year entry-level program at GE Appliances, a Haier company, designed to provide participants with diverse experiences in both design engineering and manufacturing. AEDP members support the design and manufacturing of new products across various appliance categories. They work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to integrate product designs that meet customer needs and observe the impact of these designs on the factory floor. The program includes advanced courses in engineering, manufacturing, and dimensional control, along with mentoring from assignment leaders, to equip members with the technical and professional skills for a successful career at GE Appliances. The program consists of four technical rotational assignments, alternating between design engineering and manufacturing, with concurrent educational and professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or better in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related engineering degree
  • Cumulative GPA >= 3.0 (out of 4.0)
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
