About The Position

Garni Cafe, a three-meal-period restaurant, is seeking a talented and experienced bartender to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while creating a fun and positive guest experience. The bartender is responsible for upholding all applicable state, federal, and property-specific policies and procedures. The role also includes sharing knowledge of the food, services, and amenities available to guests, taking food orders at the bar, and ensuring orders are accurate before delivery.

Requirements

• At least three years of previous bartending experience in a luxury setting.
• Working knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and food service.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
• Required alcohol service and Food Handler certifications; county- and state-specific Food Handler certification and state-specific alcohol certification and/or TIPs certification are required.
• Impeccable customer service and social perceptiveness.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to provide a fun and friendly environment during guest interactions.
• Ability to work in an empowered, fast-paced environment serving the bar and restaurant servers.
