About The Position

Velocity Esports is an esports and entertainment platform located at Newport on the Levee, offering esports lounges, arcade games, bowling, billiards, darts, live tournaments, dining, and other in-person entertainment. The Game Card Counter/Game Floor Associate helps guests purchase, load, and recharge game cards and explains card usage, promotions, and pricing options. The role also involves processing cash and credit card transactions, maintaining the cash drawer, troubleshooting minor card issues, answering prize redemption questions, restocking prize counters, and keeping the area clean and organized. Friendly, efficient customer service and prompt resolution of guest concerns are essential. The position requires flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
