About The Position

Velocity Esports is an esports and entertainment platform located at Newport on the Levee. It offers esports lounges, arcade games, bowling, billiards, darts, live tournaments, dining, and craft beverages. Bowling (Control Desk) Attendants help ensure guests have an enjoyable bowling experience by providing hospitality and upholding the company’s guest service standards. Attendants manage lane availability, communicate lane status and wait times, ensure guests have appropriate footwear and requested lane specifications, and assist management with private parties. They also communicate guest requests to the appropriate staff or management. The role requires availability for days, nights, and/or weekends as business demands, and involves working in a noisy environment, standing and walking throughout the shift, reading and writing handwritten notes, and lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Employment offers may be contingent on a satisfactory background investigation.

Requirements

Ability to work in a noisy environment with distracting conditions.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk throughout the venue during the scheduled shift.
Ability to read and write handwritten notes.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Manage and track the availability of bowling lanes.
Greet guests and proactively communicate lane status and wait times.
Ensure guests have the correct footwear and any requested lane specifications.
Assist management with the seamless execution of private parties, both large and small.
Communicate guest requests to the appropriate staff or management.
