About The Position

Velocity Esports is an esports and entertainment platform located at Newport on the Levee. It offers esports lounges, arcade games, bowling, billiards, darts, live tournaments, dining, and craft beverages. Bowling (Control Desk) Attendants help ensure guests have an enjoyable bowling experience by providing hospitable service and upholding the company's guest service standards.

The role manages lane availability, communicates lane status and wait times, ensures guests have appropriate footwear and requested lane specifications, assists with private parties, and relays guest requests to the appropriate staff or management. The position requires availability for shifts as business demands, including days, nights, and/or weekends, and involves working in a noisy environment, standing and walking for extended periods, reading and writing handwritten notes, and lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

• Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends as business demands.
• Ability to work in a noisy environment with distracting conditions.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk throughout the venue for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to read and write handwritten notes.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• A satisfactory background investigation may be required as a condition of employment.
