About The Position

Support undergraduate foundations courses, including but not limited to preparing instructional materials for accessibility, grading assignments, and exams.

Requirements

  • Eligible for appointment as per the requirements in the Graduate Assistant Handbook
  • Must be a degree seeking graduate student at Illinois State University in Special Education, TCH, Education and Administration Foundation, Speech-Language Pathology, or Social Work.
  • Eligible for employment in the United States and at Illinois State University and/or for the number of hours required for the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills (e.g., deconstructing complex tasks, organizing and prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines).
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to stay on task with limited supervisory oversight.
  • Ability to navigate multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Experience and/or training in creating accessible documents.
