About The Position

In this Specialist role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering effective interventions both within and outside the general education classroom. You will collaborate with curriculum area teachers and the academic support team to design instruction that supports every scholar's learning and build strong relationships with Alma families. The school provides necessary support while allowing autonomy to make decisions that are best for the scholars. Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or higher
  • At least one year of full time teaching experience preferred
  • Proven effectiveness leading students to significant academic gains (please include specific data related to your student's academic gains in your resume)
  • Massachusetts DESE Licensure in Special Education.
  • A passion for working with kids and a belief that all kids can succeed
  • Humility, resilience, and a hunger to learn and grow

Responsibilities
