About The Position

Teach undergraduate foundations course, including but not limited to preparing instructional materials, setting up and lecturing grading assignments and exams, as well as student consultations when necessary, and holding office hours for students to come for help or questions.

Requirements

  • Eligible for appointment as per the requirements in the Graduate Assistant Handbook
  • Must be a degree seeking graduate student at Illinois State University in the Educational Admin and Foundations program.
  • Eligible for employment in the United States and at Illinois State University and/or for the number of hours required for the position.
  • Must pass a satisfactory criminal background investigation and/or an employment history review.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong organizational skills (e.g., deconstructing complex tasks, organizing and prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines).
  • Ability to navigate multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
