Teaching Lab is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming teacher professional learning to improve student outcomes. They partner with educators, schools, districts, and leaders to create effective instructional systems. This role is for experienced instructional facilitators and coaches seeking future contracting opportunities. The Facilitator/Coach is an individual-contributor role focused on delivering high-quality professional learning and instructional coaching to educators and school leaders. Responsibilities include designing and facilitating professional development, engaging in coaching feedback cycles, building collaborative relationships, and supporting data collection and reflection activities. In-person work and travel are required. These roles are project-based and flexible, with opportunities communicated in advance. Contractors manage their schedules and collaborate with project teams. Opportunities may include school-based coaching, instructional teacher coaching, and executive leadership coaching. Hours are not guaranteed as they depend on active projects and availability. Contractor roles are not eligible for benefits, retirement, or leave.
