About The Position

Vesta Home is seeking a responsible, motivated Delivery Driver to deliver and set up furnishings for residential and commercial customers. The role involves safely operating company vehicles, loading and securing products, completing deliveries on schedule, arranging furniture to meet design standards, and installing wall décor. Drivers communicate with dispatch, designers, customers, and warehouse staff; maintain vehicle and inventory records; prepare furniture for delivery; and assist with warehouse operations as needed. The position also requires adapting to changing routes, schedules, and other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Valid, clean driver's license with appropriate endorsements for operating box trucks.
Working knowledge of English; conversational English is required.
Proven experience driving box trucks and delivering and setting up furniture.
Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy furniture safely.
Working knowledge of DOT regulations and road safety protocols.
High attention to detail when arranging furniture in homes.
Strong time management skills to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining safety.
Strong professional communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
Willingness to undergo ongoing training.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with DispatchTrack.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning devices.
Experience using drills, hammers, and levels for assembling furniture and installing wall décor.

Responsibilities

Safely operate 16-foot and 26-foot box trucks and sprinter vans in accordance with traffic laws and DOT regulations.
Load furniture and home décor products at the warehouse and secure them properly.
Deliver and unload products at residential and commercial locations according to delivery schedules.
Set up and arrange furniture on-site to meet Vesta Home’s standards and designer direction.
Hang art, mirrors, and other wall décor using appropriate tools and safe installation techniques.
Communicate delivery progress and task completion to dispatch, and follow dispatch directions regarding routes and changes.
Follow onsite designer direction as assigned by the Delivery and Logistics Manager, and escalate issues to the Delivery Manager.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and report maintenance needs to the logistics supervisor.
Use a WMS or scanning device to verify orders and track products during loading and unloading; maintain accurate inventory records.
Restock and organize tools, hardware, and delivery supplies according to manager specifications.
Clean and prepare furniture so it is in pristine condition upon delivery.
Communicate professionally with customers about delivery windows, questions, and concerns, and represent the company courteously.
Assist with warehouse inventory management, order picking, staging, and other tasks as needed.
Work in the Download and Cleaning department or wherever management assigns; scan items into the warehouse, unwrap and inspect products, apply protective coverings, and organize items.
Adapt to changing routes, schedules, and customer needs, and take on additional duties as assigned.
Use DispatchTrack for route management and communication.
Take and submit before-and-after installation photos and photos of questionable items or potential damage.
Use tools such as drills, hammers, and levels for furniture assembly and wall décor installation.
Participate in ongoing training.
