Furniture Assembly Technician

About The Position

SFS, Inc. is seeking an independent contractor for ongoing, part-time furniture assembly work in stores and customers’ homes. The role involves assembling ready-to-assemble furniture, with additional opportunities for workers experienced in TV wall mounts, gas grills, sporting goods, bicycles, and display racks. Contractors choose when and how much they work and create their own schedules. Work may involve travel, and completed client work must be reported on the same day as service.

Requirements

Merchandising and/or commercial furniture assembly experience.
Ability to assemble products according to written instructions.
Ability to understand plan-o-grams and perform customized category resets independently.
Ability to carry and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend and stand for extended periods.
Internet access and an active email address.
Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.
Must have own tools.

Nice To Haves

Experience with TV wall mounts, gas grills, sporting goods, bicycles, and display racks.

Responsibilities
