About The Position

Leaders Furniture is a family-owned Florida furniture and home accessories retailer. Furniture assembly employees work as part of a warehouse team to pick and prepare customer orders for delivery and load products onto trailers for the delivery team. The role includes on-the-job training and operates in a safety-focused environment. Pay is production-based, with base pay starting at $15.75 and the possibility of earning up to $22.05 depending on production. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch. Occasional overtime is required. Employees must be able to stand and walk throughout the shift and meet the physical demands described below. The company maintains a drug-free workplace and conducts background and drug screening; medical marijuana cards are not accepted under its drug-free workplace policy. The employer uses E-Verify.

Requirements

Able to stand and walk throughout the shift and stand for long periods.
Able to lift 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally; items over 50 pounds are lifted as a team.
Able to lift or move up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance.
Able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Frequently able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and push.
Work well in a team environment.
Have a positive attitude.
Be reliable and punctual.
Have a desire to win.
Experience level: 1–3 years.
