About The Position

Leaders Furniture is a family-owned Florida furniture and home accessories retailer. The warehouse team picks and prepares customer orders, then loads products onto trailers for delivery. This position has a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including a one-hour lunch break, with occasional overtime required. Pay is production-based, with base pay starting at $15.75 and the possibility of earning up to $22.05 depending on production. On-the-job training is provided. The employer maintains a drug-free workplace and uses background and drug screening; medical marijuana cards are not accepted under its drug-free workplace policy. The employer also uses E-Verify.

The job requires standing and walking throughout the shift, working effectively as part of a team, and safely handling furniture and other products. Employees must use appropriate safety equipment to prevent injury to themselves and others.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience.
• Able to stand and walk throughout the shift and stand for long periods.
• Able to lift 20 pounds frequently, 50 pounds occasionally, and more than 50 pounds in a team lift; the physical demands section also specifies lifting or moving up to 100 pounds occasionally with assistance.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Positive attitude.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Desire to win.
• Able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Must comply with the employer's drug-free workplace policy and background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer orders in the warehouse.
• Load products onto trailers for the delivery team.
• Use appropriate safety equipment to prevent injury to self or others.
• Perform physical warehouse work, including handling, reaching, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and pushing.
