Furniture Assembly Technician
About The Position
SFS, Inc. is seeking an independent contractor for ongoing, part-time furniture assembly work in stores and customers’ homes. The work primarily involves assembling ready-to-assemble furniture. Additional opportunities may be available for contractors with experience assembling TV wall mounts, gas grills, sporting goods, bicycles, and display racks. Contractors control when and how much they work and create their own schedules. SFS, Inc. provides field services to manufacturers and retailers, including merchandising, auditing, installation, and assembly projects across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.
Requirements
- Merchandising and/or commercial furniture assembly experience.
- Ability to assemble products according to clients’ written instructions.
- Ability to understand plan-o-grams and independently perform customized category resets.
- Ability to carry and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend and stand for extended periods.
- Internet access and an active email address.
- Reliable transportation; some travel is involved.
- Must have own tools.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with TV wall mounts, gas grills, sporting goods, bicycles, or display racks.
Responsibilities
