About The Position

This role focuses on assisting in the planning and execution of fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and community-based donor activities. The coordinator will support the drafting of fundraising materials, donor communications, and event promotions. A key aspect of the role involves maintaining fundraising databases and donor records with accuracy and confidentiality. The position also includes researching potential donors and funding opportunities, coordinating logistics for fundraising events, and tracking donations and participation metrics. Administrative tasks, collaboration with staff to align activities with organizational goals, and communication with community partners are also integral. The role involves contributing creative ideas for campaign strategies and donor engagement, helping to create content for social media and newsletters, and participating in training to build skills in fundraising, administration, communications, and event coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and executing fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and community-based donor activities.

  • Help maintain fundraising databases, donor lists, and contribution records with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Conduct research on potential donors, sponsors, grants, and community funding opportunities.
  • Assist with coordinating logistics for fundraising events, including outreach, registrations, and volunteer support.
  • Track donations, pledges, and participation metrics, preparing simple reports for the team.
  • Support administrative tasks related to fundraising, including organizing receipts, preparing documentation, and assisting with reimbursement processes.
  • Work with staff to ensure all fundraising activities align with organizational goals and messaging.
  • Communicate with community partners and supporters to promote initiatives and build relationships.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute creative ideas for campaign strategies and donor engagement.
  • Help create content for social media or newsletters to highlight fundraising efforts and impacts.
  • Participate in training to build skills in fundraising, administration, communications, and event coordination.
