About The Position

A warm, involved, and family-oriented household in Smyrna, GA, is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and flexible Full-Time Nanny / Family Assistant. The family has three children, ages 3, 5, and 7, and is looking for a career nanny who is genuinely passionate about working with children and sees nannying as their long-term profession. They hope to find someone who will become a trusted, consistent presence in their children’s lives for years to come. The children are energetic, affectionate, and enjoy outdoor adventures, imaginative play, and fun outings such as trips to the library, parks, museums, community activities, and other enriching experiences. The parents are highly involved and take a collaborative, team-oriented approach to raising their children. Their home is lively, relaxed, and filled with love, including four friendly dogs, and they are seeking someone who will genuinely enjoy being part of that environment. One child benefits from additional support with emotional regulation, and the family has established thoughtful strategies with the guidance of therapists. The ideal candidate will be calm, patient, and willing to follow the parents’ lead regarding structure, discipline, and emotional support. Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, special needs, or emotional regulation challenges is strongly preferred. This is a nanny-first position, with family assistant responsibilities designed to support the children’s daily routines and help keep the household running smoothly. The successful candidate will work alongside the parents, another nanny, a housekeeper, and other household professionals in a collaborative environment where the children’s well-being always comes first. The role will initially guarantee approximately 32 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow to 35–40 hours for the right candidate. Occasional overnight care and domestic or international travel will also be required in the future.
