About The Position

The API & Developer Experience team is seeking a Software Developer to build and evolve developer.sas.com, the portal where developers and AI agents discover and use SAS APIs. The team owns standards, the publishing pipeline, and the portal for hundreds of SAS Viya APIs, and is working to make the catalog ready for AI agents through agent-ready discovery, linked Markdown for API operations, MCP and OAuth discovery metadata, and trustworthy API contracts. The role works in a modern React and Next.js codebase on Azure, on a small team whose work ships weekly and serves developers around the world. The developer will create high-quality, scalable portal features and contribute across the full software lifecycle, including testing, production support, reliability, performance, observability, documentation, and security. The role also collaborates with cross-functional partners and participates in planning and project scoping.
