Full Stack Software Developer
About The Position
JMS Technical Solutions is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to join its client’s development team in Buffalo, New York. This hybrid, full-time contract role contributes to the design, development, testing, and enhancement of software applications across front-end and back-end environments. The developer will write and maintain quality code, collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams, and support continuous improvements to applications and development processes. The position involves building reliable, maintainable, and extensible software according to business and technical requirements and established architectural and development standards. The developer will conduct testing, maintain technical documentation, integrate applications with auditing, logging, and performance-monitoring systems, and contribute to code reviews and quality assurance. The role also supports system design, technical requirements, configuration and change control, and efforts to improve end-user experiences. The position is a 6+ month contract. The stated salary range is $50–$55 per hour, based on experience. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, and the role calls for 2–5 years of hands-on software development experience.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong experience with .NET.
- Strong experience with SQL, including queries and stored procedures.
- Strong experience with JavaScript.
- Strong experience with Vue.js.
- Ability to manage deadlines and contribute to successful project delivery.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with developers, technical leaders, and cross-functional team members.

Responsibilities
- Develop, test, debug, and enhance software applications across front-end and back-end environments.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code according to business and technical requirements.
- Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software is reliable, efficient, and performs as expected.
- Follow architectural and development standards to create lean, extensible, and well-documented solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.

- Participate in code reviews and help maintain development standards and best practices.
- Analyze existing systems and recommend improvements and enhancements.

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to team performance, development processes, and software quality.
