Full Stack Software Developer III
About The Position
BAM is seeking a full stack developer to design, develop, and maintain web- and mobile-based software applications. The role involves delivering performant web experiences and high-quality code using C# and .NET Core, working with relational and NoSQL databases, and implementing cloud-based solutions using AWS. The developer will contribute to software delivery through CI/CD and DevOps practices, collaborate with technical colleagues and stakeholders, and participate in agile ceremonies in a fast-paced delivery environment. The position also includes investigating and resolving complex software issues, conducting code reviews, maintaining technical documentation, and staying current with emerging technologies. The developer will provide and receive guidance and mentorship, including coaching and upskilling engineers in Angular. This is a fully remote role requiring independent work and consistent engagement through collaboration tools. BAM may consider candidates who do not meet every qualification but have sufficient experience and talent.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience and/or certifications.
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET Core and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks, custom JavaScript using popular libraries, and advanced web technologies and techniques.
- Experience with database design, data modeling, SQL, and database administration.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and experience integrating cloud services into software solutions.
- Experience with microservices and modular architecture, RESTful development, API design, and reusability.
- Understanding of UX design and ability to map business process workflows.
- High proficiency in Angular and demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and upskill engineers in Angular architecture, patterns, and best practices.
- Understanding of user-centric design software tools.
- Experience with database design and enterprise data modeling with PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of RESTful patterns and API endpoints.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency with Git version control.
- Enterprise experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated involvement in agile work environments.
- Ability to identify and use standard software design patterns.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote organization using collaboration tools.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with recent versions of Angular is preferred.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript.
- Understanding of and experience with GitHub.
- Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AWS DynamoDB.
- Knowledge of OpenSearch (Elasticsearch) for search and analytics.
- Familiarity with Large Scale Scrum agile practices for software delivery.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web- and mobile-based software applications.
