About The Position

Build scalable, customer-facing applications and cloud-native solutions as part of a high-performing engineering team. The role involves designing, developing, and delivering modern web applications and backend services, owning features from concept through production deployment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on highly visible initiatives. The position is a contract role based in Newport Beach, California, with a hybrid workplace arrangement.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of Full Stack Engineering experience.
• Strong expertise with React, TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, AWS Cloud Services, and serverless computing.
• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
• Experience building external-facing web applications.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps or similar work management platforms.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Python and/or Java.
• MuleSoft integration experience.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection best practices.
• AWS certifications, such as Solutions Architect or Developer Associate.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end software solutions.
• Build modern web applications using React and other contemporary frameworks.
• Develop scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Create and consume RESTful, GraphQL, and SOAP APIs.
• Work within microservices-based architectures.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous delivery.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Troubleshoot performance, security, and system stability challenges.
