Full Stack Developer III
About The Position
Join a team building and enhancing a modern, cloud-based customer loyalty platform. The role works across the full stack, developing applications with TypeScript, Node.js, and React; designing and deploying serverless AWS solutions; and building REST APIs and integrations with third-party and COTS platforms. The developer will work with authentication and authorization technologies, contribute to platform functionality, use AI-assisted development tools, and help ensure quality through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. The position is a contract role based in Newport Beach, California, with a hybrid workplace arrangement.
Requirements
- Strong experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Advanced hands-on AWS experience, especially with serverless architecture.
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and microservices.
- Strong unit and integration testing practices.
- Experience using AI coding tools, ideally Claude Code.
- Experience integrating applications with third-party platforms or COTS products.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with loyalty or rewards platforms.
- Rules engine experience.
- Experience with Antavo.
- Experience with Playwright or similar automated testing frameworks.
- MuleSoft development experience.
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Design and deploy serverless AWS architectures using Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB, CloudFront, and CDK.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and integrations with third-party and COTS platforms.
- Work with authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth2, and OIDC.
- Help develop functionality supporting a large-scale customer loyalty platform.
- Use Claude Code for AI-assisted design, development, troubleshooting, and productivity.
- Write unit and integration tests using tools such as Vitest or Jest.
- Help automate end-to-end testing with tools such as Playwright.
- Collaborate with a team building clean, scalable, modern cloud solutions.
