About The Position

Blue United Sourcing is partnering with an established technology services company in Midtown Manhattan to hire a Full Charge Bookkeeper. This is the company's sole bookkeeping role and reports directly to the CEO. The bookkeeper manages day-to-day accounting transactions for two companies, from accounts payable and receivable through monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, employee reimbursements, and multi-state sales tax obligations. The role also includes occasional office administration, such as tracking PTO and serving as the contact for building management. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. The position is hybrid: onsite Monday through Friday during the initial training period (described as the first month in the overview and 2–3 weeks in the qualifications), followed by at least two office days per week, including a monthly all-staff meeting on the last Friday of each month. The annual salary range is $70,000–$75,000. The role is full-time, W2, and direct hire. The employer seeks a proactive communicator who asks clarifying questions, confirms deadlines, flags issues early, and learns established processes before proposing improvements.
