About The Position

Blue United Sourcing is partnering with an established technology services company in Midtown Manhattan to hire a Full Charge Bookkeeper. This is the company's sole bookkeeping role and reports directly to the CEO. The role manages day-to-day accounting for two companies, from transactions and accounts payable and receivable through monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and multi-state sales tax filings. It also includes occasional office administration, such as tracking PTO and serving as the point of contact for building management. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. The position is hybrid: onsite Monday through Friday during the initial training period (described as two to three weeks in the qualifications and the first month in the overview), followed by a minimum of two office days per week, including a monthly all-staff meeting on the last Friday of each month. The role is full-time W-2 and direct hire, with an annual salary range of $70,000–$75,000. The successful candidate is expected to communicate proactively by asking clarifying questions, confirming deadlines, flagging issues early, and learning established processes before proposing improvements. Candidates must pass a background check, sign a non-disclosure agreement, be at least 18 years old, and be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.
