About The Position

The Part-time Fulfillment Specialist supports customer inventory needs through local deliveries, replenishment of managed inventory programs, and maintenance of vending equipment. The role is based at Fastenal’s branch at 1405 Airport Rd, Bismarck, ND 58504, and involves regular customer interaction while servicing customer sites. The position offers on-the-job, online, instructor-led classroom, and virtual training intended to help employees develop the knowledge and skills to succeed and grow with the company.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a current, full, valid driver’s license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated license program, and meet driving-record requirements to use a company vehicle as needed.
Have proficient written and oral communication skills.
Have proficient computer skills.
Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
Demonstrate attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
Be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and potentially up to 75 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).
