About The Position

The Full-time Fulfillment Specialist delivers inventory solutions and manages Fastenal’s vending program on a local customer route. The role is based at the branch at 7377 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075, and involves making deliveries, replenishing managed inventory programs, maintaining equipment, and serving customer needs at their sites.

Fastenal provides on-the-job, online, instructor-led classroom, and virtual training to help employees build the knowledge and skills needed to perform the role and grow with the company.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a current, full, valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program, and meet driving record requirements for use of a company vehicle as needed.
• Have proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Have proficient computer skills.
• Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
• Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
• Be able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Demonstrate the company's core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
• Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and sometimes up to 75 pounds.
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries in a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites.
• Replenish and perform general maintenance on vending equipment.
• Interact with customers while making deliveries.
• Place and fulfill orders at customer sites.
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
