About The Position

The Part-time Fulfillment Specialist delivers inventory solutions and manages Fastenal’s vending program along a local customer route. The position is based at the Alexandria, Louisiana branch and involves making customer-site deliveries, replenishing managed inventory programs, maintaining vending equipment, and meeting customer needs. Fastenal provides on-the-job, online, instructor-led classroom, and virtual training to support job performance and employee growth.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Hold a current, valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated license program, and meet driving-record requirements for use of a company vehicle as needed.
Have proficient written and oral communication skills.
Have proficient computer skills.
Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
Demonstrate attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
Be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and sometimes up to 75 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).
