About The Position

The Part-time Fulfillment Specialist works from Fastenal’s Crawfordsville, Indiana branch and services customer sites along a local route. The role focuses on replenishing inventory solutions, managing Fastenal’s vending program, delivering orders, and maintaining vending equipment. The position offers up to 28 hours per week, with availability across Monday through Friday. Training includes on-the-job, online, instructor-led classroom, and virtual learning opportunities.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Hold a current, valid driver’s license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated license program, and meet driving-record requirements for use of a company vehicle as needed.
• Have proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Have proficient computer skills.
• Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
• Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.

• Lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and potentially up to 75 pounds.
• Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries using a company vehicle to fulfill inventory at customer sites.
• Replenish and perform general maintenance on vending equipment.
• Interact with customers while making deliveries.
• Place and fulfill orders at customer sites.
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
