About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supply Chain is seeking a Fulfillment Manager (Level K) to join their team in North Charleston, South Carolina. This onsite position will provide oversight and leadership to individual contributors for Boeing South Carolina Operations within the 787 Program Fulfillment Team. The role supports WIP (work in process parts control), 3PL management, and fitted parts & cycling across all 3 MBUs (AFT, Midbody, Final Assembly). The Fulfillment Manager will be managing a team of production coordinators.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course 'Exploring Leadership'.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management/fulfillment.
  • Experience with inventory / ERP systems.
  • Willingness and ability to work any shift assigned based on business needs.
  • Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience with the following systems: Velocity, Kit Integration and Tracking System (KITS), E-Enabled Tracking and Communication (eTRAC), and Order Manager (GXO Warehouse Management System).
  • Experience with safety and quality processes.
  • Self-motivated, works well independently.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and integrates employee activities across more than one area in materials management and fulfillment.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships, and partnerships, with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, coaches, develops and motivates employees.
