About The Position

As a Fulfillment Coordinator, you will help process and pack orders, restock packing materials, interact with carriers, sort packages and support pharmacy staff in their daily activities. We want an individual who is passionate about improving patient health outcomes by changing the traditional pharmacy model for the better, and making access to medications simple and seamless through quality service. We are looking for a team player who is analytical, detail-oriented, adept at prioritizing, reliable, and has exceptional communication skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work the following shifts - Weekly days and rotating weekend days
  • Must be able to commute to and work at the pharmacy location during scheduled shifts.
  • Experience using MS Excel, Google sheets or similar spreadsheet tools, and Slack.
  • Ability to multitask, and know how to prioritize in a constantly changing environment.
  • Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, frequently move around the pharmacy away from the computer terminal, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer and other pharmacy equipment that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 50 pounds.
  • The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fulfillment or distribution, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare environment.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and fulfillment software.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards for medication distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently package prescription orders with meticulous attention to detail, while maintaining accurate inventory of all packaging and shipping supplies, including cold chain items.
  • Contribute to daily pharmacy and office operations by maintaining a clean and organized workspace, assisting with inventory management, and supporting process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage interactions with third-party couriers and shipping carriers, ensuring timely package dispatch, troubleshooting issues, and making urgent deliveries when necessary.
