About The Position

This position is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of a vehicle. Drivers deliver petroleum products to company-owned sites and customers. The role includes loading and unloading petroleum products, safe and compliant truck operation, vehicle and equipment inspections and upkeep, completing required paperwork, and coordinating with dispatchers. Overtime opportunities are available, with drivers getting home every day.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean MVR.
• Required Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Required TWIC card.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
• Meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
• Subject to quarterly random drug screens under FMCSA/DOT regulations.
• Excellent customer service demeanor.
• Must be available to work weekends, if necessary.

• Prior fuel truck driver experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks with petroleum products in accordance with Company and governmental regulations.
• Safely operate trucks according to Company policies and state and federal laws.
• Keep vehicles clean and perform required safety inspections on trucks, equipment, and facilities.
• Check oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items daily.
• Complete and transmit paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers daily.
