Fuel Truck Driver - Greensboro, NC
About The Position
This position is responsible for completing assigned duties efficiently and operating a vehicle safely. Drivers deliver petroleum products to company-owned sites and customers. The role includes loading and unloading fuel, maintaining the vehicle and related equipment, completing required paperwork, and coordinating daily with dispatchers. The position offers a full benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, company-paid life insurance and short-term disability, paid time off, and six paid holidays. Compensation is competitive and based on experience and geographic location. Drivers may qualify for quarterly safety bonuses and monthly bonuses based on gallons delivered after 120 days of employment. Requirements
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
- TWIC card is required.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
- Meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
- Submit to quarterly random drug screens as required by FMCSA/DOT regulations.
- Demonstrate an excellent customer service demeanor.
- Be available to work weekends if necessary.
Nice To Haves
- Prior fuel truck driver experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks with petroleum products while following company and governmental regulations.
- Operate trucks safely according to company policies and state and federal laws.
- Keep vehicles clean and perform required safety inspections on trucks, equipment, and facilities.
- Perform daily service checks, including checking oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items.
- Complete and transmit paperwork according to established company procedures.
- Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers daily.
- Deliver petroleum products to company-owned sites and customers.
