About The Position

Springfield Remanufacturing Corp. is seeking a Fuel Pump Rebuilder for their 1st shift. This role is primarily responsible for disassembling, cleaning, and assembling fuel pump units to meet customer expectations and company requirements. The company remanufactures engines and components for agricultural, industrial, construction, and truck markets.

Experience in fuel pump rebuilding.
Familiarity with chemical wash, soda blast, or other cleaning methods for fuel pump components.

Responsibilities

Follow prescribed safety procedures.
Read, understand, and follow processes to remanufacture a complete fuel pump unit.
Identify and disassemble core fuel pump units.
Clean fuel pump components using chemical wash, soda blast, or other approved cleaning methods.
Use precision instruments and gages to measure product.
Assemble fuel pump components to final product specifications.
Serve as the final inspection of the product before being shipped.
Maintain excellent housekeeping and work area organization.
