About The Position
This role involves preparing pump parts and units for assembly, shipping, and testing. The technician will follow standard work instructions and may be assigned other duties. A manufacturing plant shop environment is expected, with specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Prepping parts including but not limited to washing, wire wheeling, sanding, grinding, etc.
- Staging units for assembly
- Prepping units for shipping including but not limited to tagging, plugging, surface cleaning, torque sealing, test reports
- Follows standard work instructions
- Perform other duties as assigned
