About The Position

The Fuel Pump Rebuilder is primarily responsible for disassembling, cleaning, and assembling fuel pump units to customer expectations and company requirements. Springfield ReManufacturing Corp is an employee-owned company that remanufactures engines and components for customers in the agricultural, industrial, construction, and truck markets. Requirements

Ability to read, understand, and follow processes
Ability to use precision instruments and gages to measure product
Excellent housekeeping must be maintained

Responsibilities

Follow prescribed safety procedures as needed
Read, understand, and follow processes to remanufacture a complete fuel pump unit
Identify and disassemble core fuel pump units
Clean fuel pump components using chemical wash, soda blast, or other approved cleaning methods
Use precision instruments and gages to measure product
Assemble fuel pump components to final product specifications
Serve as the final inspection of the product before being shipped
Work area and work flow organization are critical to success of this position; therefore excellent housekeeping must be maintained
Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management and recognize the responsibilities of being a part owner of the company
