About The Position

As a Seasonal Fuel Delivery Driver, you will work with the Dispatch team to deliver products safely to residential and commercial customers. The role provides an essential service to Irving Energy customers in a safety-focused environment. Success depends on following daily routes, loading the fuel truck, completing pre- and post-trip inspections, and complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and procedures.

Candidates must be legally entitled to work in the US. Pre-employment checks include a criminal background check, drug test, and road test.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A or Class B Driver’s License with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial transportation experience.
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong safety focus.
• Must be legally entitled to work in the US.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with liquid loads.

Responsibilities

• Drive a delivery truck while adhering to all DOT regulations and procedures.
• Work with the Dispatch team to deliver products to residential and commercial customers.
• Follow daily routes using knowledge of geography, routes, zones, and streets.
• Load the truck with required product while following safety policies and procedures at the loading site or bulk plant.
• Complete daily shift reports, pre- and post-trip inspections, and required paperwork.
