Seasonal Fuel Delivery Driver (Sign-on Bonus)
About The Position
The Seasonal Fuel Delivery Driver works with the Dispatch team to deliver fuel safely to residential and commercial customers. The role provides an essential service to Irving Energy customers in a safety-focused environment. The driver follows daily routes, loads the fuel truck, completes pre- and post-trip inspections, and complies with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and procedures. Applicants should be prepared to start anytime between July and November and must be legally entitled to work in the United States. Recruitment includes criminal background, drug, and road tests.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B driver’s license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Attention to detail and strong customer service skills.
- Strong safety focus.
- Legally entitled to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of pre-employment criminal background, drug, and road checks.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with liquid loads is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Drive a delivery truck while adhering to DOT regulations and procedures.
- Work with the Dispatch team to deliver products to residential and commercial customers.
- Follow daily routes using knowledge of geography, routes, zones, and streets.
- Load the truck with the required product while following safety policies and procedures at the loading site or bulk plant.
- Complete daily shift reports, pre- and post-trip inspections, and required paperwork.
