About The Position

As an FSQA Tech, you will help ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. The role involves inspecting products and plant systems, accurately documenting and calculating results, and taking corrective action when needed. This includes alerting appropriate personnel to process adjustments, identifying and isolating non-conforming products, and reporting results to management. Additional assignments may be requested. The position is based in a food manufacturing environment and requires working the second shift at the Berry Street Plant.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing or related Quality Assurance work.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Skills to complete Tyson paperwork.
Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.
Problem identification and problem-solving skills.
Math and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
Ability to function well under stress.
Flexibility to work where and when needed.
Willingness and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
Ability to work in temperatures typically ranging from 30 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit and in a wet environment.
Ability to perform repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, pushing, and pulling, and to reach high and low levels frequently.
Ability to climb step ladders and/or stairs.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Must obtain Lock Out Tag Out certification.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
