About The Position

Purchase Endodontics is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Front Office Assistant to support a patient-focused team and help provide an exceptional experience from patients’ first phone call through post-treatment follow-up. The ideal candidate is willing to learn, treats patients with kindness and care, and brings a positive attitude. Prior dental or endodontic front office experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a busy environment.

Dependability and ability to work collaboratively.
Previous receptionist or front office experience in a dental or endodontic office is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Verify insurance benefits, calculate patient portions, and determine pre-payment amounts for consultations and surgeries.
Enter and manage patient information accurately using EMR systems.
Discuss treatment plans and financial responsibilities with patients, and collect payments as needed.
Answer and manage a high-volume, multi-line phone system professionally and warmly.
File and follow up on insurance claims, maintaining documentation for timely processing.
Schedule and confirm clinical and surgical appointments.
Greet patients and assist with check-in and check-out.
Prepare patient charts and maintain daily schedules for the clinical team.
Keep the front desk clean and organized while multitasking efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to support a smooth, positive patient experience.
