About The Position

Chick-fil-A County Line Road is seeking a Front of House Director who is passionate about developing people, creating exceptional guest experiences, and taking ownership of business operations. This role is crucial during a period of significant growth, including a new restaurant location and projected expansion. The Front of House Director will lead a team of approximately 30-35 Front of House employees through Supervisors and Team Leaders. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on developing leaders, solving problems, and achieving results through the team. The restaurant's vision is to make days brighter for guests and team members, and this leader will be instrumental in bringing that vision to life.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of restaurant and leadership experience required
  • 3+ years of hospitality and/or service experience required
  • Proven experience leading and developing people
  • Experience leading through other leaders rather than relying solely on individual execution
  • Comfortable taking ownership of a department, team, or meaningful area of a business
  • Strong communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment
  • Hands-on leadership style; this is not primarily an office-based position
  • Strong hospitality mindset with high standards for guest experience
  • Collaborative and willing to support other leaders when business needs change
  • Energized by growth, change, and the opportunity to build something
  • Available to work approximately 40–45 hours per week
  • Available to work at least one night per week
  • Open availability outside of essential personal responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of Front of House hospitality and customer experience across Drive-Thru, Carry-Out, Dine-In, Third-Party Delivery, and Catering Pickup
  • Lead, coach, and develop Front of House Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Team Members
  • Develop Team Members into Team Leaders and Team Leaders into Supervisors
  • Create results through people by equipping leaders to confidently own their areas
  • Coach hospitality, speed of service, cleanliness, operational excellence, and second-mile service
  • Lead and support restaurant operations as a hands-on member of the Director Team
  • Manage the Front of House schedule and help ensure appropriate staffing for business needs
  • Use operational and customer experience metrics to identify opportunities and improve performance
  • Communicate vision, expectations, and goals clearly throughout the Front of House team
  • Partner collaboratively with other Directors while maintaining strong ownership of the Front of House
  • Help prepare the team and leadership structure for significant business growth
  • Build a culture where employees feel known, supported, developed, and challenged to grow
